Comfortable bed, big size bathroom and a Juliet balcony, climate control, and a lounge area in the room. A very very good building in the historical centre of Catania. Positioned in the very nice area.

Great city center location. Quick room change and upgrade. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast options, including soy milk. Cute terrace. Convenient parking. Spacious rooms with potential. Comfortable bed and clean bedding. Lovely rooftop terrace. Efficient check-in staff.

It was located in a bad area, very hard to find. The room was old and had an odor to it and was not good for someone with a family

Our room had a beautiful and original 17th century hand-painted ceiling and was very spacious. The hotel is very well located close to the old city centre of Catania and is in a quite street.

This hotel is an excellent choice if you want to be in the heart of the action. Its central location is convenient for exploring the town, as well as being close to important sites, restaurants, and bars. You can easily walk to the main shopping streets, fish market, and even catch the airport shuttle bus. The off-street parking option is worth every penny. The rooms are spacious and charming, with beautiful frescoes on the ceilings. The basic amenities, including a fridge, add to the comfort of your stay. The staff is friendly and the service is top-notch. The breakfast is nicely done with a great variety of alternatives, from fresh fruit to pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice.

The hotel is in an excellent position and the room we had was very comfortable. And the service wes good.

We had one main problem with the hotel and that is the the fire exits were not fully functioning. Patrons should feel fully safe in a hotel, but we did not. We assume this problme will be sorted out once the hotel is fully renovated.

The staff were friendly and the location was perfect. The WiFi was exceptional and the breakfast had a good choice. The room had a balcony and the TV had a good program selection.

We had a room for 4. The fresco on the ceiling was very nice. The lcoation was amazing, very close to everything we wantred to see, and the parking was a major advantage.

We had standard king room, and it was good sized with amazing decoration of the ceiling. The service was very good, nothing to complain about.

The staff at Hotel Manganelli Palace were incredibly friendly and accommodating. When we arrived, they immediately upgraded our room to a spacious and comfortable flat, after we mentioned that our original room had a smoking odor. They even helped organize a birthday cake for me during breakfast, making our stay extra special. The hotel's location was also ideal, allowing us to easily explore the city. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Palace and its situation in the town centre

The rooms were lovely and comfortable. One of the rooms had a painted ceiling which was beautiful. Rooms were tidied every day with plenty of clean towels and soap available etc. The breakfast was good with as much as you wanted. Finally, we got a proper cup of tea which we made the most of every morning as we knew it would be the only one of the day. The staff were courteous and the hotel was quite luxurious.

It would have been so much better to have tea making facilities in the room as we always had to go out for even a basic drink. The outside was very shabby in what looked like a very shabby square. It was such a relief to see how nice it was inside. We were pounced on by two enterprising men (not related to the hotel) to pay extortionate rates to park our cars outside and bullied into paying it. The breakfasts although nice were a bit boring after 3 days of no other choice and being a vegetarian I did tire of cheese rolls and did not fancy a slice of cake for breakfast. On a Saturday evening, the car papping outside the window and people shouting and music booming from cars went on until 2am and I had to sleep with a pillow over my head and the wooden shutters closed to drown the noise but this was only on the Saturday night.

This place was a great choice for exploring the city, with stunning views from the rooftop terrace and just a short walk to downtown; definitely worth its 3 stars.
