The hotel features stunning original paintings on the
ceiling that add to its historical charm. The spacious Superior Double room was pristine and comfortable. The rooftop terrace for breakfast was delightful, though the elevator was a bit small. Overall, a fantastic stay just steps from the heart of Catania's hustle.

Rooms offer impressive views and are quite comfortable, making for a solid retreat after a long day exploring. Proximity to local sites means everything's just a quick walk away.
Hotel sits on the 4th floor of a building, which can be a bit confusing, and the small elevator is definitely not the best for those with heavy luggage. Bathrooms lack hanging hooks for towels, making things awkward after a shower. Noise can be an issue. some rooms experience sounds from outside parties and adjacent showers, creating a less-than-peaceful sleep environment.

Incredible location just a short walk to all main attractions. The charming rooftop terrace offered stunning views, especially during breakfast. Breakfast boasted a delightful selection, including fabulous handmade cakes by Stefania. My room featured a beautiful ceiling that added to its historical ambiance and was spacious enough for relaxation. However, the corridor carpet needed attention as it appeared dirty, detracting from the hotel’s overall charm. Additionally, the elevator access was a bit perplexing, especially with luggage, as it’s quite small. Parking was another challenge. it seemed limited without clear guidance from the staff. Despite these issues, the friendly and accommodating service made my stay enjoyable. I appreciated the cleanliness standards and the helpful recommendations from the staff.

Breakfast with a breathtaking view
Extremely friendly staff and a delightful breakfast spread, complemented by stunning views of Mount Etna from the rooftop terrace. The room was spacious and well-maintained.
Accessing the hotel can be confusing as it's on the 4th floor of a historical building, and the elevator is small. Limited bathroom amenities could be a downside for some.

The hotel has a great location, very close to the Stesicoro Metro Station and local markets. The staff was always kind and helpful, making our stay enjoyable, especially with the kids. A lovely rooftop space for breakfast added to the experience.
My kids wished there were more breakfast options available for picky eaters.

The excellent rooftop breakfast with freshly baked apples was a highlight, complemented by the friendly and helpful staff. However, the room we had was disappointing—poor maintenance with a leaking bath, absence of electric sockets, and a moldy bathroom made for an uncomfortable experience. Despite the appealing location, the overall condition of the facilities didn't meet our expectations.

One night, I woke up early and caught the sunrise from the terrace, which was a spectacular sight with the warm golden hues hitting the rooftops. The staff even offered to make special arrangements for breakfast, which felt like a personal touch not expected in a place like this.
It wasn't inexpensive, though worth every penny for what it offered.

This was just a fitting option for a weekend jaunt in Catania with a great value-to-price ratio. The bathroom area, despite its compactness, was stylish with its unique partitioned design. If you're someone who doesn’t mind a small lift and can manage with limited space, you’ll have an enjoyable stay.
